Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians
Sara is a graduate of Springville High School, and obtained her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from Medaille College. She joined us at Aurora Pet Hospital in 2012 as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Sara loves all aspects of her job, but if she had to pick a favorite area it would be surgery. When she is not at work you can find her spending time with her husband Casey and their 3 children, Cole, Wyatt and Cora. Her family also consists of a dog, 2 cats, chickens, goats and a cow. Her favorite activities involve her family, gardening or preparing firewood.
Samantha joined our team in 2014. She graduated from Medaille College and came to us with 4 years of experience. Samantha gained special skills in equine rehabilitation as well as equine handling & behavior. Samantha would like to further her knowledge by getting certified in canine rehabilitaion. At work she finds it most rewarding while helping in surgery and assisting with all the orthopedic cases. When Samantha is not at work you will find her doing family activities with her boyfriend Andy, daughter Bella, and all of her pets (1 cat, 2 dogs and 1 horse).
Beth joined our team in July 2015 with 21 years of veterinary medicine experience. She obtained her Veterinary Technology degree from Medaille College and has been strengthening her skills in radiograph technology. When Beth is not at work she enjoys traveling to exotic places with her husband and working out. Beth is also very busy with her 10 year old son's hockey games/practices and her 15 year old daughters field hockey games.
Alex started with us in February of 2019. She lives with her husband Jon, their cat Oscar and their four dogs Maisie, Lottie, Sawyer and Roxie. She is a Holland native and went onto to Medaille College. She graduated with her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2016. Alex enjoys spending time with her family and friends and reading. Alex enjoys every aspect of her career choice and we are sure glad to have her!
Justin is a Holland native and became an LVT in 2018. He has been working with us as an assistant since April 2016! He is currently enrolled at Medaille College finishing his Bachelor's in Biology after earning his degree in Veterinary Technology. He plans to continue onto Vet School. On his off time he enjoys reading, spending time with friends his cat Felix as well as Cooper, his cocker spaniel as well as his rescue rat and guinea pig!
