Michael D. Keem, DVM

Dr. Michael D. Keem, a Western New York native and graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. He founded Aurora Pet Hospital on October 1, 2004. Dr. Keem is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the NYS Veterinary Medical Society, the Western New York Veterinary Medical Association, the Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society, and the Buffalo Academy of Veterinary Medicine. He is active in the local veterinary community and has served on the Board of Directors of the Animal Birth Control Society of Western New York. He is past President of the WNY Veterinary Medical Association and the Buffalo Academy of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Keem has a special interest in veterinary dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology. Dr. Keem continues his lifelong involvement with the Boy Scouts of America, and enjoys spending time with his family and golfing in his spare time.

Kimberly Meisner, DVM

Dr. Michael Keem, welcomed the addition of Dr. Kimberly Meisner in August 2008.

Dr. Meisner is a native of Western New York. After graduating from Orchard Park High School she obtained her BA in Psychology from the University of Rochester. Kim earned her D.V.M. degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical veterinary medicine and surgical training at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Meisner currently resides in Buffalo, NY with her husband Miguel, their dog Brinley, and their cat Oscar.
